Dec. 1st, 2021 03:54 pmSo over the past 2 days I got caught up in Final Fantasy XIV. For the main scenario, anyway. Didn't exactly have enough time to do the side stuff.
I'd been on a hiatus from the game for way too long, only really logging in to keep my estate from being auto-demolished since I knew I'd want to still have it whenever I got back to playing. So I ended up having to go from the 5.2 dungeon to the end of 5.55 at the last minute, doing excessive grinding to get up to item level 490 for the last dungeon. Can't say it wasn't worth it, though—Shadowbringers was already great and they maintained the same level of quality throughout the patch cycle. Just might be a good idea to, you know, not leave everything to the end of the expansion next time.
Anyway, I'm definitely ready to jump into Endwalker when it releases (server stability willing, of course.) Not sure whether I'll try the new jobs—I'm very attached to DRK—but if I do I'll probably go with Reaper since I have barely any healing experience.
